We advise that the following Terms and Conditions should be read carefully before purchasing from this on-line site.

Order of Purchase
All order enquiries can either be placed online or by telephone (in normal working hours Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm), credit card details must NOT be emailed to us as no responsibility can be taken if given this way.


Method of Payment
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Visa Delt, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro and JCB as well as PayPal.

When the order is processed it will be encrypted using the latest Industry Standard Protocols and processed by sage.

All Credit card numbers are securely held and are not held in clear text on any website. When paying be card you must enter that your details are as they appear on the card and that the address given are that of the cardholders details otherwise your order will not be successfully processed.


Out of Stock
In the unlikely event that an item is unavailable we will give you the option of a back order or we will cancel the order if you request this and give you a full refund.


Goods will be delivered to UK mainland by our courier service. We aim to deliver our goods to you as quickly as possible. If you require a sepcific date of delivery we will do our best to enable this for you. There will be a surcharge added to your order if you live in remote regions of Scotland.

All glass is breakable no matter what thickness or type, once the glass product is signed for we can accept no responsibility for breakage under any circumstances. Glass products should be treated with care, they should not be placed on hard surfaces such as concrete, metal or tiles. You should always place the product on timber batons or carpet and either of these two items should be used as a buffer against the wall that the glass is leant against.

Please note that Glass Products Direct comply with the newly revised Distance Selling Regulations (DSR).


Returns Policy
Goods are non returnable as all our products are made for your specific requirements.

Goods damaged during transit to you can be replaced without charge to you but it is imperative that you advise us immediately or at the latest within 24 hours.

If a box looks damaged do not sign for the goods without checking the product. If the product is damaged you may refuse to accept the delivery. If the driver is in a real hurry and cannot wait for you to check the product, you can sign for the goods but write clearly on the slip that the goods have not been checked. If when opening the package, the goods are damaged, please contact us immediately.

We can then arrange to send you a replacement and lodge a claim with the courier. When this happens the carrier will usually collect the damaged item while simultaneously delivering the replacement. 

Goods rarely arrive damaged but speedy action helps all parties to sort the problem out without delay. Your co-operation in this way would be greatly appreciated.


Special Orders
Where goods are specially ordered in for you, they cannot be returned unless they are faulty in some way. in some circumstances we may at our discretion agree that the goods can be returned for an administration charge of from 25% of the value of the goods.

Product Information
In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error in pricing, we reserve the right to change the price when necessary and refuse or cancel any orders placed for that item, even when the order has been confirmed and your credit/debit card charged. If your credit/debit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order cancelled, we shall issue a credit to your card account.

You are resposible for checking all the details of your order, please check the dimensions, colours and requirements are all correct prior to placing the order.

Please note that any colours shown are to be considered an approximation and may very to the individual item.


Privacy Statement
Glass Products Direct will hold and process any information, which you provide to us on this web site in order to facilitate the services which we provide. On occassions where goods are sent out from suppliers warehouses all the third parties have signed Confidentiality Agreements so that your details are protected. Glass Products Direct will not in any other way collate, reproduce or pass on any information given by you to any other third party. We will not use your details in any arketing strategy without your consent.

Customer Service
It is our aim to offer the best possible seervice. Most of our deliveries arrive in good condition and on time. When things do go wrong, we are committed to sorting out problems as efficiently and as quickly as possible.
